Opening an account with us

Opening an account with us

As a bank registered and licensed in Seychelles under the Financial Institutions Act, we are required under the Anti-Money Laundering laws to follow a process called Customer Due Diligence (CDD), formerly known as Know Your Customer (KYC), to prevent the Bank from being used by criminals for money laundering or terrorist financing activities.

The ultimate aim of CDD is to protect our legitimate, law-abiding customers. All information that will be collected from you during the account opening process shall remain confidential and will not be disclosed to any third party except as provided by the law e.g. in the case of criminal investigations or when ordered by a court of law.

When we undertake CDD, you can rest assured that your bank takes its duties under the Anti-Money Laundering laws very seriously and that it has your best interest at heart. By having the most up to date information about you, we may be able to prevent your account(s) from being taken over by fraudsters and/or used for fraudulent transactions.
